  3. Crunching the Numbers

    The latest economic data shows WA’s employment is continuing on the right path. WA recorded the highest annual growth in full-time employment of all states and territories, with an increase of 4.9% in the year to September 2017. The number of people working part-time in WA has stabilised over the past year after a period of strong growth up to the middle of 2016.

  5. New White Card Arrangements

    Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), like Master Builders, will be moving to a new White Card unit of competency in December. Although online training will still be possible, the trainer will need to observe students apply personal protective equipment (PPE) in real time. The duration of the course has also increased.     The 2017 Cbus Annual Report states that Cbus now has nearly 126,000 employers and over 750,000 employee members with funds under management of about $40 billion.
