Housing Council Advocacy:

  2. Regulatory reform:
    • Housing Affordability

    • Privatisation of Planning
    • Private certification of regulatory planning services
    • In time, further private certification of building regulatory services
    • Greater consistency of technical matters including key civil engineering requirements
    • Unified electronic lodgement and processing for all building related permits
    • Unified electronic lodgement and processing for all residential class planning applications
  3. Bushfire prone areas:
    • Housing Affordability
    • Identity and lobby the most valuable and appropriate improvements to the applicable legislation
