Apprentice Mentoring
Master Builders is assisting Skill Hire to mentor 1323 building apprentices in our industry to the end of December 2019. This federal government funded program is targeted at first and second-year apprentices to reduce their attrition rate. Phone Charlotte Sutton on 9376 2800 for more information or to get involved. Curtin University Research Projects
The Sustainable Built Environment National Research Centre (SBEnrc) has consulted with Master Builders and other stakeholders to determine priority research topics over the next 18 months. Priorities identified in WA were innovative and affordable housing, recycling waste, infrastructure, social housing and emerging technologies. Dr Keith Hampson will now co-ordinate feedback from other states for his national Board to consider.
