MSMWHS216 – Operate Breathing Apparatus (BA)
WHY ATTEND?
This unit of competency covers the skills and knowledge required to operate and maintain breathing apparatus and equipment in an irrespirable atmosphere, as defined by the Australian Standard AS/NZS 1715:2009 Selection, use and maintenance of respiratory protective equipment.
PRE-REQUISITE
Nil.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
- Conduct pre-donning checks and tests on breathing apparatus.
- Operate breathing apparatus.
- Conclude operations in accordance with procedures.
Please note: This course is delivered by Master Builders WA nominated training providers. Details of the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) will be provided upon the initial enquiry and confirmation.
A Statement of Attainment will be awarded by the nominated RTO upon successful completion of course assessment requirements.
