Former Labor PMs Lash Out at Union
The Federal Court imposed $65,000 on the CFMEU(Qld) for unlawful industrial conduct last week. The Court, again, applied the maximum fines allowable against the union and, again, heavily criticised the union’s complete contempt for the rule of law. Little wonder former Labor Prime Ministers, Bob Hawke and Kevin Rudd, have urged the Federal Labor Party to eject the union as an affiliate.
