  1. Customer Service Presentation

  2. Unemployment Rates

    WA’s unemployment fell from 6.9% to 6.5% but remains higher than the national average of 5.6%. WA wages growth also remains subdued at about 1.8%. Curiously, some economists are predicting a possible wages breakout in WA which is at odds with the local economy.

  3. Future Leaders Committee

    Master Builders Future Leaders Committee met again this week at the CTF Construction Futures Centre in Belmont. In addition to a tour of the facility, John Clifton from Landcorp made a presentation on innovation and technology.

  4. Cbus Information Session

  6. Jobs & Skills Centres

    Master Builders congratulates the McGowan government in opening five new TAFE Jobs & Skills Centres across the metropolitan area. These Centres offer free career, employment and training services to job seekers, individuals, business and industry. Master Builders attended the official launch yesterday.

  7. REIWA Centenary Exhibition

    Our friends at REIWA are celebrating their centenary this year with a free public exhibition at the State Library until 31 May. If you have an interest in history, you’ll appreciate this exhibition.

  8. Pilbara-Kimberley Building Excellence Awards

  9. Reconciliation Walk

    Next week is National Reconciliation Week which raises awareness of the contribution that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have made to our history, culture and achievements. Members who wish to participate in a short walk from Elizabeth Quay from 12:30pm on Friday 1 June in support of the reconciliation cause, can register here.
