  3. Metronet Boardroom Lunch

    Jackson McDonald is hosting a presentation tomorrow for a select group of MBA members from Anthony Kannis, who is the senior public servant overseeing the Metronet project. The focus of this presentation will be opportunities for builders in the vicinity of the new Metronet hubs.

  5. Industry Research Projects

    Master Builders Director met with the Sustainable Built Environment National Research Centre (SBEnrc) Board this week. Over the next 18 months (from October 2018), SBEnrc will be focusing on five major research projects which are likely to deal with housing affordability, infrastructure procurement, emerging technologies and waste management/recycling.

  6. Free Building Code Seminars for Regional Builders

    The Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety will visit nine regional towns to update the local building and construction industry on Building Code of Australia (BCA) matters and amendments to WA’s building laws. Free seminars are scheduled in Geraldton, Albany, Northam and Kalgoorlie this month. A seminar in Esperance is scheduled for April, while Busselton, Bunbury, Karratha and Broome are due to host them in May. Click here to register or phone 1300 489 099.
